the things i do: create treasury lists on etsy

On etsy, you can create 'treasury lists'. A treasury is essentially a curated collection of items from etsy. They can be unified by theme, color, or anything else really. I started making treasuries a while back. I've made quite a few treasuries and will continue to do so. They are a great way to give props to those who have cool items or cool photos and a great way to draw attention to yourself. When an individual shopkeeper has an item included in a treasury they are notified. Often, this exposure will draw a new visitor to your shop. And often, these people would have never otherwise found you because etsy is a big, big, big. community.

the things i do: take a break

All of my avid followers noticed that I did not post last week. The reason: I was tired. Downright beat. I had been working very hard, long hours and I need a break and I took one.

Open Studios is over and we hosted a second open house. I completed teaching a class and I just needed a moment (or a week) to slow it down. I'm back....returning slowly....but I am back.
